Center for Asian Americans in Action’s school equity work is guided by a committee of parent advocates. Members of the Schools Committee are creating tools and training opportunities to build the advocacy capacity of Asian American parents throughout Orange County. We seek to build a network of parents who are engaged in their school communities and passionate about creating safer and more inclusive classroom environments in K-12 schools.
The Schools Committee also oversees OC Families in Action, a project of the Center for A3. Visit the OC Families in Action webpage for events, resources, and more information on ways we are working with parents to promote equity in schools for all families with K-12 students.
