Center for Asian Americans in Action engages in policy analysis and leverages advocacy opportunities to promote equitable solutions that address health and healthcare disparities impacting Asian Americans and other vulnerable communities of color. We are actively engaged in various health equity initiatives at the state and county levels.

Center for A3 also provides health policy trainings to help community members increase their knowledge, better understand health care policies, and be stronger advocates.

Do you use ethnic/racial data for advocacy? Not sure where to find disaggregated Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander or Asian American data? There are many options and evidence-based data tools available. We will be providing a training and overview of different data tools you can use for advocacy, community outreach, program planning, and proposal writing. This training will primarily look at data tools for Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander and Asian American-serving communities in Orange County, CA but many of these tools can be applied to other parts of California and beyond.
